I offer a confidential service where we will work together to explore your well-being in a non-judgemental manner. I use an integrative approach which involes selecting techniques from different therapeutic models best suited to my clients needs. The main approaches I may draw upon are Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM COUNSELLING?
Counselling provides a growth promoting climate. The process is not always comfortable, but your therapy space will enable you to grow, heal and learn parts about yourself that you never knew existed or perhaps re-own parts of yourself that were once lost.
Counselling is not a cure, or an instant solution to the difficulties you may be facing. It cannot change the past; however, it can change how you manage and cope with current challenges you face alongside your attitude towards them.
I will work alongside you to help you become the healthiest version of yourself in order to live your best possible life. The goal is not to 'get over' your issues or about receiving advice but instead to encourage your self-awareness, allow you a space to express freely and authentically as well myself listening, validating & supporting you throughout your journey.
